A PRINT SALE FUNDRAISER
FOR PALESTINE & LEBANON
The fifth edition of Pictures for Purpose was organised to raise funds for children suffering amidst the ongoing violence in Gaza and Lebanon. Supporting two established Palestinian and Lebanese charities – Taawon and Beit el Baraka – proceeds from the print sale will be dedicated to each organisation’s child specific programmes.
Taawon’s Noor programme supports children orphaned by genocide in Gaza who have experiences unimaginable violence, destruction and loss. It works to provide a holistic 18-year support structure, providing orphans with basics necessities, education, healthcare, psychological support and social services.
Beit el Baraka’s Forsa programme aims to offer a brighter future to children in Lebanon by ensuring they have access to consistent education throughout this period of instability, upheaval and conflict. Supporting over 28,765 students across 189 schools, it provides vital resources to keep education accessible despite Lebanon’s compounded crises.

WHY SUDAN NEEDS URGENT SUPPORT
Since war broke out in April 2023, conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has triggered the largest displacement and protection emergency in the world today. Attacks on displacement camps, hospitals, and critical infrastructure, as well as looting, torture, and widespread conflict-related sexual violence, have displaced almost 12 million people. The situation in Sudan has become a regional emergency with global implications that cannot be ignored. The ripple effects are being felt across an already fragile region, placing enormous strain on host communities, local services, and humanitarian operations, while the needs of those affected continue to grow.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organisation dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights, and building a better future for people forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution. The UNHCR remains on the ground in seven states across Sudan, as well as working in neighbouring countries to protect and assist refugees and returnees. Despite insecurity and access constraints, teams continue to provide life-saving support, coordinate emergency response, and advocate for protection and access to basic services.
